I’m a visual artist and researcher working across painting, drawing, installation, media and performance.My practice exists in tension between an obsessive need to know and the surrender to the unknowable. Drawn to threshold spaces, my conscious intent meets intuitive flow inside the boundary of the artistic ritual. I let go of control and allow guidance from something beyond myself, joining the material in becoming the medium. What manifests are traces, personal cosmologies, tricks that tell the truth by transforming before your eyes.
Rotterdam is my habitat.
